2018 Street Busking

Change is in the air – Busking at the 2018 Henry Lawson Festival will not be run as a competition as it has in the past. This year we are running it in line with the centuries-old tradition of entertainers performing for tips in public areas.

Buskers will be dotted along Main Street amongst street stalls and shops. To celebrate the 'arts' we encourage all forms of ‘buskers’ to apply – mimes, magician, singers, poets, street performers (such as living statue), musical performance, puppeteering, street art (such as sketching and painting) etc.

Terms & Conditions
Buskers wishing to participate at the 2018 Henry Lawson Festival are required to fill out the application form and submit it to the Street Entertainment Co-ordinator, along with a copy of their public liability insurance for $20 million.

Limited spaces will be available. The Street Entertainment coordinator reserves the right to decline a application to help ensure a variety of buskers for the patrons and to help celebrate all arts. Please note there will be no power available.

Please send your completed form to the Street Entertainment co-ordinator, Claire McCann, by Friday 4th May 2018.
