STATUETTE and First prize in the Open – Monochrome: “White Tulips”
This was considered by the judges to be a photograph which had great impact with the white on the black. A beautiful composition and no washed out in any area.
NATURE: The winning photo “Got it 2”
This photograph had impact with its sharpness, composition and timing it is an outstanding image and catches the action and is technically excellent. This Section provided a big variation in standard however the small group at the top were excellent with image impact.
OPEN - COLOUR:
The First prize image had impact, sharpness, composition and timing
OPEN - MONOHROME:
Overall the standard was high with the Statuette winner “White Tulips” coming from this section.
A smaller section. Open photo entries should tell a story about the image as can be seen in the “Smoke Ceremony” And the “Street Performer” with the performer and the little girl absolutely entranced by him.
