Festival Queen Entrant - Vicki McIntyre
Vicki McIntyre is the new Assistant Principal of Grenfell Public School. She grew up in Narromine where she lived with her parents and brother on the family farm, so she has strong country values.
Vicki attended Newcastle University to study a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood. She gained a full time appointment in Gladesville, Sydney, where she spent the last 10 years.
The calling back to the bush was too strong for Vicki so she applied for the promotion to Grenfell Public School. Not long after gaining this position, she was approached by the P&C to be their Queen Entrant for the Henry Lawson Festival. Vicki was ecstatic about this as she believed this would help her meet new people and also help promote the town of Grenfell.
Vicki enjoys all things sporty, including tennis, netball and fitness. Since arriving in Grenfell, Vicki has joined all of these sporting clubs. She also enjoys travelling and attending community events like the picnic races and special events.
Vicki and the Grenfell Public School P&C have organised their fundraising activities. These include the Family Bingo Night which was held in March, The Family Movie Night which will be held on 12th May and a Seafood Night to be held on the 26th May.
