The Verse and Short Story competition is vital to the Henry Lawson Festival. There are multiple classes for various ages and abilities in both verse and short story. Judging is by impartial industry representatives. The winning work is published in an anthology which can be purchased from the coordinator. Statuettes will be presented on the Saturday evening ceremony at the Grenfell Bowling Club.
